The Apple Developer Academy is a unique learning experience at the intersection of creativity and technology that empowers all Detroiters to thrive in the world’s most vibrant app ecosystem. Participants learn the essentials of coding, design, and business with Apple tools in order to craft their own pathway in or with tech.

The Academy is a free 10-month program running from August-June. We meet for 20 hours a week (AM or PM), in-person, at our location in downtown Detroit. The next Academy cohort will start at the end of August 2024.

Applications for the 2024-25 cohort are now closed.

You will be notified of your eligibility via email in early 2024.

The next Apple Developer Academy cohort starts at the end of August 2024. You must be 18 and older to apply.
