The Apple Foundation Program at the Apple Developer Academy in Detroit introduces learners to the basics of app development: research, design, user experience, prototyping, and intro to coding with Swift. The Apple Foundation Program is open to any interested participants with no prerequisites or requirements. The program is free-of-cost, and technology is provided to participate.
The 4-week re-occurring offering takes place at the Apple Developer Academy in Detroit, MI. There is a required commitment of 20-hours a week, Monday through Friday for the duration of the program.
Class times are Monday through Friday with two timeslots available, 8am-noon OR 1pm-5pm (subject to availability). Attendance is required in-person at the Detroit location at 660 Woodward Ave., Suite 200, Detroit, MI 48226. Registration is first-come-first-serve.
The next Apple Foundation Program will be held from September 5 to September 29, 2023. If you prefer to attend October 2023, November 2023 or January 2024, please utilize the links to sign up for the October Apple Foundation Program (October 9, 2023, to November 3, 2023), the November Apple Foundation Program (November 27, 2023, to December 22, 2023), or the January 2024 Apple Foundation Program (January 8, 2024 to February 2, 2024).
There will be two class times - both are Monday through Friday.
